Pastor Corey A. Young “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because He hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,”- St. Luke 4:18 This scripture helps to describe how Pastor Corey Young uses his gift to minister to people he encounters daily. Pastor Corey Young is the son of Pastor Arthur Young and Dr. E. Elaine Asbury. He was born on February 21, 1979. Pastor Young knew at a young age that he was called to preach the word of God even though he ran from it for a long time. But when God has a call on your life, you can only run but so long. Pastor Corey Young is a
graduate of The Hair Styling Institute of Charlotte. He has been a Master Barber for more than 20 years. He is the owner of Swaggerz Barber Shop and Salon, Lucrative Trucking Service, Inc., and Equal Life Foundation. Pastor Young has a bachelor’s degree in Christian Education from PTP School of Christian Education. Pastor Young the father of five children. Pastor Young was a Minister at Whole Armor of God Ministry under the leadership of Dr. E. Elaine Asbury.
